Seeking to obtain a professional Teacher of Arts  position in  extracurricular activities & entertainment environment in which I will progressively utilize my extensive arts skill and share them with my students.  

Qualifications Summary

• More than 10 years experience as a professional artist 
• Extensive knowledge of the theory and techniques required to compose, produce, and perform works of Acrobatic, Percussion and dance.
• Strong ability to coordinate the movement of arms, legs, and torso together when the whole body is in motion following the percussion.
• Able to exert oneself physically over long periods of time without getting winded or out of breath.

Work Experience

Dancer& Acrobatic : Started when i was in lower school  at ST. Micheal's Primary School ,then joined the Afro Jungle Jeegs Acrobatic troupe in1999 - in the year 2000 started touring in Europe Presenting the baskers festival five years contract with rtificio23 and Pepe Produzioni, Professional Dance school  Genova Italia

• Attend costume fittings, photography sessions, and makeup calls associated with dance performances.
• Collaborate with choreographers in order to refine or modify dance steps.
• Coordinate dancing with that of partners or dance ensembles.
• Develop self-understanding of physical capabilities and limitations, and choose dance styles accordingly.
• Harmonize body movements to rhythm of musical accompaniment.
• Perform contemporary ,Hip Hop, traditional modern, percussion & acrobatic dances in productions, expressing stories, rhythm, and sound with their bodies.
• Perform in productions, singing or acting in addition to dancing, if required.
• Study and practice dance moves required in roles.

IT'S PARTY TIME CHILDREN ENTERTAINMENT teams will grace your event with Acrobatics (FIRE EATING , HOOP JUMPING, LIMBO DANCE WITH FIRE, HUMAN BALANCES, & PERCUSSION  ( TRADITIONAL DRUMMING , LIVE D.J SET, CLOWNING , MAJIC  SHOW, PUPPET SHOW in three and four part harmonies. IT'S PARTY TIME CHILDREN ENTERTAINMENT have put together a wide range of carols from both traditional and secular tunes, assured to bring the spirit and festivity of Christmas to your event.


IT'S PARTY TIME CHILDREN ENTERTAINMENT
This entertainment offers a broad range of traditional and secular of urban  music, which can be done A ‘Capella or assisted with guitars &  percussions . We are also able to roam the room doing sets in different parts of a function hall or Christmas luncheon or alternatively we can stay in one place and do the full set in a designated area depending on what your venue offers.

1 hour –Our entertainers will do a set for 25 minutes – take a 10 minute break then sing for another 25 minutes.
1.5 hours – Two 40 minute sessions, 10 minute break in between
2 hours- Three sessions on, two 10 minute breaks in between
Carolers for 30 minutes or more: A 45 minute sessions to the hour with a 15 minute break
Experienced Two Part Band with african percussion and Guitarist: Instrumental music, Christmas Music and a wide variety of other songs to add to the repertoire.

These entertainers have an extensive history with music entertaining from very young ages.  This act has African, style and loads of personality and professionalism. Adaptable to any party and event! This act is great for Weddings, Christmas Parties, Corporate Functions, Cocktail Parties and Birthday Parties. These boys will help set the mood on whatever your event may be.  Sound equipment is also supplied with this entertainment.

RADI CULTURAL TROUPE PERCUSSION PROFILE:

Radi is a Swahili word which means lightening. Therefore it is in the same dynamic breath that we express ourselves through music in this Kenyan cultural group.

Radi represents a group of musicians from Nairobi, Kenya who are not only ambassadors of culture but also custodians of traditional music. In this capacity we have been able to travel to various countries which include Tanzania, Uganda, Japan, Germany, Belgium, Canada, Holland, South Africa and a host of many other countries to spread the music of our ancestors. We have performed in various platforms which include; Festival Mundial in Holland, MTV MAMA Awards where we performed alongside the famous Wyclef Jean, During the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, The Kigezi  Ndoto Tour of East Africa amongst many other concerts and tours. Our meanest feat was drumming down to beat the Guinness World Book Record, and to date no other Kenyan group has dared to beat our record. The group also performs at The Kenya National Theatre where it’s based and at The National Museums in Nairobi during weekends when they don’t have prior engagements elsewhere.

Radi consists of multi talented artistes who are able to play various instruments from all over the world. Some of the instruments include all kinds of drums such as all authentic Kenyan Drums, percussion instruments, flutes, horns, rattles, West African Djembe Drum among many others. We also sing, dance, compose music and arrange very entertaining stage performances.

Other than the stage performances, Radi members are also renowned as workshop facilitators and teachers of African instruments. We also teach about music instruments and culture in Kenyan schools such as The Hilcrest School, The Swedish School, The German School, The Braeburn School, The International School of Kenya, The Braeside School and private lessons at The Kenya National Theatre. In addition to this we also make, repair and maintain traditional instruments such as Drums and flutes. The group also gives lessons in various traditional instruments and culture in various events such as corporate functions; we also do Drum Jams at the bequest of the host.

Radi has a very wide repertoire of African Folk songs and Kenyan traditional songs, which I have also attached. We are a happy group of people who like to share the spirit of the drum because we believe it’s the heartbeat of the society. The cry and the smile of Africa is also shared through our various beats and songs.
